Kumusha
Home. KVM has a tribe that boasts of their home away from home. ‘Kumusha’ is a term in shona used to denote where your lineage of people are, or where they are from. Our literal translation of ‘kumusha’ is ‘at home’, referencing somewhere deeper than a location, but a base of a rich network and history that connects you to that space. We are building and facilitating connections that extend beyond dance. It takes a village to raise a child and striving to be inclusive ensures every participant has the chance to be a part of that growth.

A room of one or a stage of thousands, it's the same joy. We share passion first and technique second. We create a positive experience mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We’re committed to allowing passion to override and create a space that embraces everyone.

Movement
We deliver classes that champion physical and mental health through the power of dance and togetherness and we push our dancers to be industry disruptors at whatever level they choose. This way, dance is a tool to teach mindfulness, inspire confidence and ignite members beyond the dance studio.
